Wondering how everyone might feel about creating an “ideas” or “approaches” section? I know I’ve tried a lot of things over the years - some dumb, some pretty interesting - and it might be helpful if we had a section dedicated to “hey, look at this idea I tried and where it worked and where it failed.” Might help keep the ideas/approaches from cluttering the more theory oriented threads in General?

I was just thinking, im a truck driver so not particularly well educated, I really enjoy this platform although im very conscious that I may clog up threads with ideas that appear relevant but in fact are not, Im wondering if maybe each new topic formed as a thread has a chat thread attached to it where discussions can happen in the chat and only information deemed contributory to the thread get entered into the thread itself, this would create an organised library system for people wanting to streamline research without having to read through…..for instance my ramblings, but would still have access to the conversations if they need to search for context.

Every post gets a bunch of views, and you never know what spark it might light up in somebody’s head. You can also start your own topic threads, or refer to other posts with [text](URL), or whatever you like.
